How to configure a filter?

After adding a filter to a filter template, you can configure its behavior and appearance.

Name: The label shown in your webshop (e.g., Color).

Translations: For all fields where you enter visible text (such as Name, Show more, Show less, or help text), you can configure translations.

This ensures the correct text is shown for each language in your multilingual webshop.

Attribute: Choose the product attribute from your feed the filter should use.

  1. Choose appearance

Select how the filter should be displayed, such as:

Link, checkbox, colorbox, slider, bucket slider.

Choose the type that best fits the attribute.

  1. Set the AI Smart Filter settings

These options help optimize visibility, order and relevance of filters.

Use the guide:

  1. Configure the display settings

Configure how values inside the filter behave:

Sorting of values: Determines how the initial list of values is sorted before expanding the filter. Options: Amount of results, alphabetical, numerical, manual.

Put selected values on top: Ensures that any values the visitor has selected appear at the top of the list, above the other filter options.

Amount of values to show before collapsing list: Determines how many filter values are shown by default. If the list contains more values, a Show more link will appear.

Sorting of values after expanding list: Defines how the full list of values should be sorted once it is expanded (e.g., alphabetical, numerical, by number of products, etc.).

Show more text: The label shown for expanding the list (e.g., Show more). Make sure to translate this for multilingual shops.

Show less text: The label shown for collapsing the list again (e.g., Show less).

Show amount of results: Displays how many products match each filter value (e.g., Red (45)). Helps shoppers understand the impact of selecting a value.

Collapse: Make the filter collapsible or collapsed by default

Search: Enable search within the filter

Value formatting: Add a prefix or suffix (e.g., €)

Help text: Add a short explanation
