Configure attribute as characteristic

Any attribute can be configured as:

• image
• sku
• url
• brand
• item type

In the attributes module, search for the attribute:

Open the context menu (dots on the right) on the attribute and choose "Use as":

Mark the attribute as the desired characteristic, for example Item Type:

Hit save.
