- Login in the backend as an administrator
- Go to Settings > Extensions and click on Tweakwise frontend
- In the top right corner, you will find a button "Create new frontend". Click this button

Select the domains you want to include. The domains you can select are the domains that are connected to a sales channel. The integration will only be activated on the selected domains.

Give the frontend a name. This will be only used in the overview of frontends within Shopware and will not be shown anywhere.

Next field is the instance key. You can ask this to your Tweakwise onboarding specialist or, if you can already login to Tweakwise, you can find this key under Tweakwise > Connectivity > Endpoints.

Next thing is to select the way of integration. You have the following options:
Way of integration Description No integration Tweakwise will be disabled on your domain. Plugin Studio implementation (recommended) Shopware will use your complete Plugin Studio configuration from the app Javascript implementation (legacy) Shopware will use your legacy javascript integration with some configuration from the Shopware plugin. Are you using our legacy Javascript implementation?
You can check if you're using legacy javascript in the Tweakwise app. In the menu, navigate to Plugin Studio. If you see this bar, your instance is not ready to use the Plugin Studio implementation.
If you want to move to Plugin Studio, please request a migration and then read this.
Section: Search
Choose your 'way of search'. You have the following options:

| Suggestions + Dedicated search page | When you search in the search bar, a dropdown will appear with search results based on your autocomplete configuration in Tweakwise. When you click on a search phrase suggestion or hit enter, you'll be sent to a search result page with filters, merchandising options and the products that match your search |
Section: Checkout sales
In this section you can define whether you want to show recommendations in your checkout or not, and what type of recommendations you want to show.

| Show featured products | Shows a featured recommendation based on the 'Featured recommendation ID' you can supply when using this option. |
| Show recommendations based on last item in cart | Shows a group upsell or crosssell recommendation based on the last added product in your shopping cart and the group key supplied in the 'Group key used for cross-sell' field. |
Don't forget to save and to clear your caches after configuration
