The Shopware Tweakwise connection is configured through a "Frontend" entity.
- Login to the backend as an administrator.
- Go to Settings > Extensions and click on Tweakwise frontend.
- In the top right corner, click "Create new frontend" to start a new configuration.
Section: General
Configure:
- Domains: select the domains you want to include. The domains you can select are the domains that are connected to a sales channel. The integration will only be activated on the selected domains.
- Name: give the frontend configuration a name. Note: this is for internal use to identify the configuration and will never be visible on the frontend of your platform.
- Instance key: you can find this key in the Tweakwise app dashboard.
- Way of integration: choose Plugin Studio implementation.
- Enable advanced analytics: checked. The out of the box Event Tag implementation that allows you to get more insights in the performance of your Tweakwise configuration.

The Plugin Studio implementation is preferred over the classic integration. To see if you're using the classic integration, navigate to Plugin Studio and see if this notification is visible:

This means you are not ready to use the recommended way of integration. Please contact us to request a migration.
Section: Search
Choose your 'way of search'. You have the following options:
Way of search | Description |

Relevant suggestions (searchphrase, category, products, etc.) are presented to push te customer in the right direction. On submit/suggestion selection the user goes to a dedicated search result page with products, filters and merchandising options. |
Instant search | Classic search when you type. The current page is replaced with search results, filters and merchandising options. |

Section: Merchandising
Show sibling categories in category filtering: By default, the immediate child categories of the selected category are returned. When using the selection type tree for facets, you can enable a more advanced category display structure that also displays siblings and children of the active category. To enable this extended behavior you must enable this checkbox.

Section: Checkout sales
In this section you can define whether you want to show recommendations in your cart/checkout or not, and what type of recommendations you want to show.
Checkout sales | Description |

No checkout sales | No Tweakwise recommendation will be shown in the checkout |
Show featured products | Shows a featured recommendation based on the 'Featured recommendation ID' you can supply when using this option. |
Show recommendations based on last item in cart | Shows a group upsell or crosssell recommendation based on the last added product in your shopping cart and the group key supplied in the 'Group key used for cross-sell' field. |
Don't forget to save and to clear your caches after configuration
