A/B testing support currently is depending on a different setting: Personal Merchandising. In the future this will be addressed.
Follow these steps to enable support:
- Go to Stores → Configuration → Catalog → Tweakwise.
- Go to Merchandising Builder section. Open Personal Merchandising.
- Set Enabled to yes
